As Caritas Ambassadors we are a group of pupils who are witnesses to God's faith by putting prayers into action and supporting those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
We are leaders of social action in our school and use the Catholic Social Teaching Principles to influence our work in helping those in our local community by addressing the issues faced to create a fairer society, as well as helping those who need our support on a diocesan, national and global level.
We have developed our own ideas by creating a strategic plan, and we take responsibility for creating and running social action projects ourselves by giving our time and skills to act to support those in need, and sharing this work with others through awareness raising and prayer.

Caritas in Action
On Thursday 24th October, the Black Country Food Bank visited school to meet with a few of our Caritas Ambassadors and Liturgy Leaders to collect all of the generous donations from our families for the Black Country Food Bank as part of our Harvest Celebrations. The children were great ambassadors for our school, helping to load all of the donations into the van. They demonstrated the true spirit of putting our faith into action.
On Monday 14th October, our Caritas Ambassadors organised a Winter Coat Swap. This gave our families an opportunity to donate any outgrown winter coats and also have a look to see if there were any they would like to take away. A sustainable way of making sure all of our children are kept warm this winter.
