Pupil Premium
What is Pupil Premium?
Pupil Premium is additional Government funding to raise achievement amongst disadvantaged children. It is to help schools to close the gap between children from low income families and other disadvantaged families and their peers.
Schools are required to publish details of their Pupil Premium allocation, how they plan to spend the allocation in the current year, how the previous year's allocation was spent and the effect of the expenditure on the attainment of those pupils for whom the funding was allocated.
We review our Pupil Premium strategy annually based on the impact of previous spending and the current needs of our Pupil Premium children. The latest review was in July in preparation for the new academic year.
